Penultimate Poem – NPWM – April 29

Some poems just don’t have titles.  But if it has a jumping off place, it is the flip side of ‘seize the day’ — it’s not being lazy it’s being slow and still enough to be present.  That’s where I wanted to start this morning…

Overcast and soft

cocoon morning

antechamber –

tarry awhile,

with the birds,

declare like

ducks tucking

heads under wings:

“delay the day.”
