Experimenting this New Year with the poetry form Cinquain — a five line poem with specific syllable counts in each line: 2, 4, 6, 8 (who do we appreciate) and 2 again. I’m using photos from my own collection as inspiration, for the poem and for the New Year as well.
The Eye –
a window to
open gently; just a touch
of curiosity will do
